The architecture around, including teaching buildings, dormitory and stadium make this project complex. And the same with the students’ activity. We are striving to redefine the border of the plaza and create a lively college space. The gray space intentionally set up in front of the building is a transition between the south plaza and the library reading area. Firstly, students enter an outdoor plaza with a quiet academic atmosphere from the lively environment, then they finally enter the hall. After a busy college day, the new library is not only a study place for students, the open space we designed also provide them a place where they meet and communicate.

场地周围的建筑，包括教学楼、宿舍和体育场，使这个项目变得复杂。 学生的活动也是如此。 我们正在努力重新定义广场的边界，创造一个充满活力的大学空间。建筑有意设置的灰空间是南侧广场与图书馆功能区的一个过渡，学生从热闹的环境中进入一个四面围合的、具有学术安静氛围的室外广场，最后进入图书馆的大厅。 在忙碌的大学一天之后，新图书馆不仅是一个学习场所，我们设计的开放空间也为学生们提供了一个聚会和交流的场所。
